Obituary For Randy A Salgueiro Sr.

Randy A. Salgueiro Sr., 61, of Johnston, RI, passed away after a long illness on Sunday, November 27, 2022. A son of Richard “Dick” Salgueiro and Deanna (Martin) Randall, he was the loving husband of his Valentine Cynthia Richard-Salgueiro. Randy grew up in Seekonk, MA where he was, and still is, a legend! He then settled in Cranston, RI for twenty years before finally moving to Johnston. Three words: Hair – Smile – Charisma; those were Randy’s God – given gifts that made his personality larger than life. He was especially known for his love of hair gel and whistling. Randy’s passion was selling cars, where his relentless drive to be #1 on the board every month was relentless and hard to beat. He worked for 25 years for the Tasca family, leaving hundreds of customers more than satisfied. In addition to his parents and his beloved wife, Cynthia, Randy is survived by his three sons, two daughters, several grandchildren, two brothers and a sister. Arrangements are with Family’s Choice Cremation, 8 Schoolhouse Rd. Warren, RI. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Seekonk Animal Shelter, 100 Peck St. Seekonk, MA 02771. In case it’s a cold case, Randy was the one releasing the dogs from the old animal shelter in North Seekonk in the 70’s! For tributes, please visit www.familyschoicecremation.com

Dad, thank you for providing a light to my life for the 3 years I have lived under the same roof as you. I'm sorry I wasn't there when you passed away, but I know the butterfly the day after was you visiting. I loved every conversation, every single moment with you I will cherish forever. I hope Randy will be half the dad you were to us, and, per your words, I'll always be your favorite daughter and your #1 fan. I love you dad. ❤️

I have no memories of my teenage years and twenties that don't have Randy in them. He was the first one at the hospital when my children, his nieces and nephews were born. He will be sadly missed.

To Randy's two beautiful daughters, Courtney and Kristina. I want you both to know how sad I was to hear about your dad's passing. I'll always remember how proud and happy he was when he was in your company. You both were truly wonderful daughters, always there for him in his time of need, doing anything and everything to make him comfortable and happy. Be proud of yourselves, as I am of the both of you. I also, would like to express my sympathies to his seven grandchildren, Alexia, Isaiah,Victoria,Taylor, Shelby, John and Jake and his new baby great grandson Jeremiah. Oh how his eyes lit up with love in your company. Your dad is flying high above with the angels now, speak freely to him now and forever whenever you like. No one can take that away from you. My fondest memory of Randy will be of the day he gave his beautiful daughter Courtney to my son, John for her hand in marriage. I love you all, my wonderful family and I am here for you should you need me... Patty
