Mary E. Silvia, 81, of Bristol, RI, passed away peacefully on November 9, 2023 surrounded by loved ones. She was the wife of the late George A. Silvia of Bristol and the daughter of the late Frank Costa, Sr. and Dora (Lessard) Costa of Warren.

She is survived by seven children, Michael Costa, Bernadette Tavares, George Silvia Jr., Christine DaRocha, John Silvia, Joshua Silvia and Jeffrey Silvia, as well as 16 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. She was an avid Patriots and Elvis fan.

A short remembrance gathering will take place on Friday, November 17, 11:00AM, at North Burial Ground, 1081 Hope St. Bristol, RI at the Cremation Garden followed by a Celebration of Life in the community room of her former residence located at 150 Franklin Street in Bristol, RI.
