Martha Helen Standeven, 84, of East Providence, RI, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 3, 2025. She was born on February 17, 1941 to the late Arthur and Florence (Perkins) Burgess. Sister to the late Robert Burgess and the Mother of the late Melissa M. Rosa.

Martha is survived by her grandchildren, Cassandra Rosa and Michael Rosa; her great grandchildren, Nicholas, Adam and Rosalyn Rodriguez, Maliq Rosa; her son-in-law, Joaquim Rosa; and nephew Robert Burgess.

Services are with Family’s Choice Cremation, 8 Schoolhouse Rd. Warren, RI 02885. A Graveside Service will be held on Thursday, August 14, 2025 at 10AM at Forest Hill Chapel Cemetery, Nyatt Rd. Barrington, RI 02806.
