Obituary For Martha Elizabeth Nelson

Martha "Pat" E. Nelson, 83, of Seekonk, passed away on Saturday, March 18, 2023 surrounded by her loving family. A daughter of the late Howard Kolb and Olive (Senay) Lamond and the wife of the late Robert E. Nelson. Martha grew up in Pawtucket before moving to Mansfield and then Attleboro where she lived 51 years while raising her family. Martha later moved to Seekonk with her daughter where she has resided for the last seventeen years. Martha was a factory worker for most of her life. She was an avid gambler and would frequent Twin River Casino and Foxwoods with her late husband. She was known by everyone as the life of the party and loved to get together with loved ones for a drink and a great time. Martha always had jokes at the ready and loved to make people laugh. Her smile was infectious and she really just loved people. Martha is survived by her daughters, Kimberly Nelson and her husband Carlos Oliveira of Seekonk, MA; Patricia Ressler and her husband Craig of Palm Coast, FL; her son, Robert E. Nelson Jr. and his wife Melanie of WA; Beloved grandmother of Michael Carr, Mathew Ressler, Ashley Blanchette and Kelsey Magina. She also leaves two great grandchildren, Amira Rose Blanchette and Ella Mary Carr, as well as many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Marie Gibson of TX, Gloria Baptista of Taunton, MA and Harold Kolb of CA. Arrangements are with Family's Choice Cremation, 8 Schoolhouse Rd. Warren, RI.     My condolences to the entire family, especially Kim. I know how close you and your mom always were. I had the pleasure of knowing her for many many years shared with me nice conversations always knew what to say even when I was so tired, I would go visit my grandparents in the nursing home or pick up my son from work she would always put a smile on my face and always asked if I was OK very loving and caring soul may she finally RIP ❤️🙏🏻❤️💔🥲 I will miss you beautiful
