Obituary For Lori Ann Papa

Papa, Lori A., 58, passed away peacefully on June 10th, 2022 surrounded by her family. She was born and raised in Warren RI and was the daughter of the late Kenneth A. Pimental Sr. and Jacqueline M. (Palumbo) Busse. She was the beloved wife of Anthony Papa and is survived by her son, Christopher Papa, her twin brothers Kennneth and Kevin Pimental, and her stepfather Roy A. Busse, Jr. Lori was employed for nearly 30 years by Stop & Shop Supermarket where she was respected and adored by her many co-workers and patrons. She made her home with her family in Bristol, RI and enjoyed the many beautiful sunsets from Colt State Park. Lori was devoted to her family, and after her mom passed, took joy in hosting the many family holiday gatherings. Relatives and friends are invited to gather at Smith Funeral and Memorial Services, 8 Schoolhouse Rd. Warren, RI, from 9-10am, Saturday, 6/18/22. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 18, 2022, at 10:30AM in the funeral home.

I remember Lori from my very younger days. She was a sweet and lovely young lady who showed kindness to me, which I have recently been specifically recalling from Child Street School playground in Warren. She, along with her brothers, have a special place in my memory. May her family be blessed in this very sad time.

My deepest condolences to Lori's family and friends during this difficult time. I had the privilege to work alongside Lori for many years at Stop & Shop in Bristol. Lori was always willing to listen to people's problems and offer a little bit of sage-like wisdom and advice to help other's out. Lori will be missed, but kept alive in our thoughts and memories.
