Lloyd A. Carlson, 84, of East Providence, died Wednesday, April 13, 2016 at the Eastgate Nursing Home in East Providence.

He was born in Providence a son of the late Carl H. and Agnes C. (Polin) Carlson.

He was a self employed carpenter. He loved hockey.

Mr. Carlson was a US Army Veteran serving as a corporal in the Korean conflict.

Lloyd has lived in East Providence since coming from Seekonk, MA.

He is survived by his sisters: Greta Carlson, Helen Oliver, Ruth Watkins, Florence Doe Paliy and many nieces and nephews. Mr. Carlson was the brother of the late Roland, Arnold, Bertil, and Walter Carlson and his late sister Eleanor (Carlson) Lee.

He will be buried privately in the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne, Ma.
