Linda L. (Myrick) Wilson, 72, of Wakefield, R.I., passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, May 14th at Kent Hospital with her son and daughter at her side.

Born in Warwick, she was the loving wife of the late Arthur “Bud” Wilson and the daughter of the late Herbert and Amy (Babcock) Myrick. She was the youngest of nine children and jokingly referred to herself as “the little caboose”. She was also preceded in death by her siblings Herbert Myrick, Ruth (Myrick) Barrett, Addie (Myrick) Warren, Beverly (Myrick) Dixon, Amy (Myrick) McKinley, and David Myrick.

Linda will be remembered as a loving and affectionate woman who really enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. In particular, she loved spending time with her grandchildren whom she adored. She would always greet people with a hug, a kiss, and terms of endearment and she had a great sense of humor and loved sharing laughter with others. Linda enjoyed being the life of the party and proudly called herself a “cool grandma” and would joyfully dance in the kitchen while listening to music at family gatherings.

Linda is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Bill and Stacey Wilson and their children Allie Mignanelli, and Ryan and Jake Wilson all of Wakefield, her daughter Deanna and her companion John Imbruglio of Coventry, and Deanna's sons, Arthur-James (AJ) Wilson of Kingston and Dylan Johnson of Coventry. She also leaves her sisters Ethel Martin of Warwick and Donna Anglehart of Seabring, Florida. In addition, Linda will be lovingly remembered by many nieces and nephews, many family friends, and her beloved dog Sophie.

Linda will be laid to rest beside her husband at the Veteran's Cemetery in Exeter, R.I. on Tuesday, May 23rd at 1:30 p.m.
