John J. Haskell, 82, of Tiverton, Rhode Island; passed away on May 22, 2025. He was the loving husband of Pamela. John was born in Pawtucket, Rhode Island to the late Louis and Hazel Haskell.

He proudly served in the United States Army from 1960 to 1963. After completing his service, he earned his broadcasting license from Colorado State University. His passion for broadcasting led him to enjoy a rich career at radio stations across the country. His career brought him home to Rhode Island in 1979. There, he met the love of his life, Pam. They married in 1980, and welcomed their beautiful daughter, Whitney, five years later. John went on to own and operate MBCO from 1990 to 2012. In his retirement, he loved working in the yard, flying radio-controlled aircraft, and most of all, walking his dog, Mookie. John cherished his family and faith above all else. He was a devoted member of Holy Trinity Church; serving on the Vestry, the Harvest Fair Committee, and in the church outreach program.

In addition to his wife Pam, John is survived by his beloved daughter, Whitney Fourquet and her husband Jason, of Tiverton, Rhode Island, and many cherished friends.

He was the brother of the late Louis Haskell and Hazel Edwards.

His family wishes to acknowledge the kind and compassionate care he received from the ICU of Saint Anne’s Hospital, with special thanks to nurses Amanda and Kenny.

Arrangements are with Family’s Choice Cremation, 8 Schoolhouse Rd. Warren, RI 02885. A Memorial Service celebrating his life will be held at Holy Trinity Church, 1956 Main Rd. Tiverton, RI 02878.
