Eileen Rodrigues, 73, of Bristol, RI, passed away on Thursday, July 25, 2024. A daughter of the late Manuel and Emily (Francis) Rodrigues, she was a lifelong resident of Bristol.

In true Bristolian fashion, Eileen always attended the 4th of July Celebration. She was an exceptional CNA at Grace Barker Nursing Home for many years before retiring after the onset of her illness in 2000. She was known as a sweet and kind caregiver and loved to be there for those in need. Eileen was an avid Red Sox fan and loved to watch them any time they played. Most of all, Eileen loved to enjoy a Diet Coke with her best friend, Sheila Lima, of Bristol, RI, and spend time with her family.

Eileen is survived by her daughter, Kathryn Rodrigues and her partner James Sardinha Jr. of Swansea, MA; her chosen daughter, Kristel Martin and her husband Brian of Bristol, RI, and their children, Mercedes Martin and Leila Martin; her sister, Barbara Rodrigues of Warren, RI; and her grandchildren, Aliyah Carrion, Angelina Goodwin Carrion, James A. Sardinha III and Ella Sardinha; as well as many beloved nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Manuel Rodrigues, Edward Rodrigues, Thomas Rodrigues and John Rodrigues and the great grandmother of the late Nevaeh Carrion.
