Deborah A. Redmond (Pillar),70, of Warren, RI, passed away on Wednesday April 17, 2024 surrounded by loved ones. She was a beloved mother, grandmother and friend who will be missed.

Debbie was born on October 10, 1953 in Rochester, PA and was the daughter of Mildred Pillar and the late John Pillar. She attended Indiana University of PA where she studied Psychology and went on to earn her Masters in Psychology at West Chester State University. She was retired at the time of passing but spent many years as a research psychologist and later moved into retail management.

Debbie was an avid reader, political enthusiast and a lifelong Pittsburgh Steelers fan. In her spare time, she enjoyed being outdoors walking, gardening or spending time with family and friends. More recently, her favorite thing to do was spend time with her grandsons.

Debbie is survived by her mother Mildred Pillar of Pennsylvania; her daughters Lindsay (Eric) Toupin and Alyssa (Samantha Perry) Redmond of Rhode Island; her sisters Rebecca Turyan, Cynthia Sebastian and Melinda Barney; her grandsons, Bryce, Sebastian and Caden; as well as several nieces, nephews and friends.

Arrangements are with Family’s Choice Cremation, 8 Schoolhouse Rd. Warren, RI. A private memorial will be held for family and close friends.
