Chin Get Hoy, 95, of Providence, RI, passed away, Saturday, May 29, 2021, at Hope Health Hospice, Providence. He was the husband of the late Sue (Wong) Chin. Born in Canton, China, he was the son of the late Chin Pang. Mr. Hoy had worked as a cook in various restaurants in the area for many years and was a co-owner of the former China Star Restaurant in East Providence. He was a Veteran of the US Air Force, serving during WWII. He is survived by four daughters, Lucy Chin, Margaret Mulveny, Lisa Gosselin, and Imogene Chin, and two sons, Gary Chin and Gerhard Chin, four grandchildren, and one great grandchild. He was the father of the late Nancy Chin. Funeral services and burial will be private. Arrangements are by Family's Choice Cremation, 10 Schoolhouse Road, Warren, RI.
