Carroll M. “Mike” Walsh, 78, of Providence, RI passed away on Saturday, April 6, 2024 with his loving family by his side. A son of the late Gerald and Abigail (Lyman) Walsh and the beloved husband of the late Susan (Shaw) Walsh, Mike grew up in Rhode Island until his early adulthood. He then went on to move around to California, New York and then settled back in Rhode Island where he remained.

Mike worked as a Food and Beverage Director for the NFL for many years. Of everything else in his life, he really loved to be with his family and set the example as to what a great father was. His best friend in the world was his son, Knowlton. Mike was known for his great sense of humor and had an arsenal of jokes to get a laugh out of anyone he talked to. He was a very kind and generous man who loved boating and being out on the water. He will be missed by all who got to know him.

Mike is survived by his son, Knowlton Walsh and his partner Rachel Magers of Warren, RI; his stepson, Andrew Waligowski of Pineville, NC; his brother, Thomas Walsh of Cranston, RI; and his sister, Abigail Wright and her husband Bob of Palm Springs, CA. He was the brother of the late Jerry Walsh.
