Caroline (Broadhead) Almeida, 87, of Lakeville, MA, passed away on Tuesday, February 3, 2026 with her loving family at her side. A daughter of the late Albert and Marguerite (Hamilton) Broadhead, Caroline was a former resident of Orlando, FL.

Caroline took great pride in being a career parent and loved raising her family. She enjoyed her time as a Scout Leader for Pack 72 and was a longtime member of the Women’s Auxiliary. In her leisure time, Caroline loved to travel and spend time in Florida, and especially loved spending time at the beach. She also lived in Florida for ten years before returning to New England. She enjoyed singing karaoke, hitting up the penny slots at the casino, doing ceramics, spending time with her cat, and enjoying a Englebert Humperdink record. Most of all, Caroline loved to spend time with her family.

Caroline is survived by her sons, Richard Almeida and his wife Audrey of Key West, FL, Scott Almeida and his wife Amy of Warren, RI, and Jay Almeida and his wife Cynthia of Bristol, RI; her daughter, Holly Travis and her husband Christopher of Lakeville, MA; her grandchildren, Joshua Almeida, Kathryn Almeida, Jon Almeida, Ellie Chabot, Austin Almeida, and Edyn Travis. She was the sister of the late Dorothy Schiavulli and William Broadhead, and the grandmother of the late Alexander Almeida and Elliot Almeida.
