Obituary For Shirleen Marie Weaver

Obituary for Shirleen Marie Weaver On Sunday, December 20, 2020, Shirleen Weaver, Loving Wife, Sister and Mother, passed away at the age of 64.

Shirleen was born December 28, 1955 in Boston MA to Carolyn and John Weaver. She grew up being raised by her mother and grandmother Dorothy West whom she was always very close with. She was a Cambridge resident for most of her life until she purchased her first home in Providence RI. Shirleen went on to go to beautician school & later opened her own hair salon, Creations N hair in 1998. She continued doing hair through her life. She married her loving boyfriend James in 2001. They shared a world wind love of passion and adoration. The pair raised their son Azreal and she was prominent in her step daughter Valencia’s life.

Shirleen was a lively, adventurous, outgoing, sweet and living larger than life type of person. She loved to cook & didn’t show any hesitations when it came to vacationing. She’s traveled to Jamaica, Haiti, Africa and Bermuda. She always had a passion for fashion and loved to be with family and friends and enjoy a good laugh. Her unique, always on point and in style choice in clothes and bags never went unnoticed. She truly had a gift when it came to hair and fashion. She had a way of taking a common style and making it her own. She adored her nieces and would pick them up on any given occasion to spend the weekend and have girl time. When it came to family there wasn’t much Shirleen wouldn’t do. At various times different ones of her nieces or cousins could be found staying with her. For a period of time she took care of her nephew Quincy Jr. & built a bond that could only be looked at as him being her second son.

To know Shirleen was definitely to love her. She was a giving, kind hearted, loving women. She would volunteer to feed the homeless and a host of other selfless things.
