Obituary For Robert D. Cloutier

On October 15, Bob Cloutier passed away unexpectedly at his home. He was 53. Bob is survived by his beloved fur babies Smokey, Ru and Shadow; parents: Robert and Christine Cloutier; sisters: Christine Duquette, Debbie Cloutier, Pamela Andrade, and Alison Fiola; brother: John Cloutier; many nephews and nieces. Bob is a 1987 graduate of Joseph Case High School. He participated in track and field and cross country, where he held the freshman 3-mile record with a time of 14:33. He earned a degree in Civil Engineering and held many trade certifications. Bob was gifted in many ways: He enjoyed cooking for a crowd and often blessed his coworkers with his culinary creations. Bob was a prankster. The more he liked you, the more he teased you. He would become part of his yard decor Halloween night, reaching out and touching the unsuspecting. But why save it for Halloween alone when he could mess with people year-round, to which the 'barn rats' can attest. He enjoyed modifying trucks and cars. This summer, wasps took up residence in the Mighty Blazer, but that didn't stop Bob. He invested in a beekeepers suit to evict the critters. His classic Mustang remains unfinished. Bob was a casual sports fan and a proficient armchair coach. He enjoyed boating, gardening, dominating the racket ball courts, and was a talented carpenter, welder, and all-around handyman. Back in the day, Bob would challenge anyone on the slopes, as long as the location was a car ride away as Bob's only fear in life was flying in an airplane. As we bid farewell to Bob, I'll quote his friend David Parente, "make sure you plug in with Eddie Van Halen and do a duet with him on Eruption".

Bob and I went to Case together class of 87, we did track football and basketball together, we both tried out for the Jv basketball team for the last roster spot the funny part was we both tried out in our track sneakers because we didn't want to buy basketball sneakers if we didn't make the team. Still makes me laugh thanks Bob
