Learning about Karen's passing this evening August 11, 2023. I am so shocked and at a loss for words. My wife and I were having a conversation about her family I grew up with and decided to look up what she was doing in life, instead I found an obituary of her passing. Our condolences and prayers to the only surviving member of the family Jim, of which I am so sorry for your loss. Sitting here so saddened by this, I remember her explosive personality and chuckle at those times we had as friends..............

Karen, We laughed until we cried. We gossiped, we bickered, we told the most inappropriate jokes. I thank you for being a friend to me, and it will mean more to me than you will ever know. I'm sorry life got in the way on my part. I love you forever. Until we meet again. Steven Saritelli Jr.

My dear friend, I can never say goodbye, as you left a permanent mark on my heart and soul. Your laugh, your light, your struggles only added to the dimensions of who you were. I will miss that one of a kind laugh and fabulous comebacks. I will miss you my friend, you were always there for me. Till we meet again. The following poem is for your family: My white walls are grey with time And dim memories that seek to guess between yesterday and today. I can no longer see you, or hear you, or reach out to touch you, but can easily understand your thoughts, if I sit quietly in a corner and listen to your smile. Love you honey. Eileen S. Pickell
