Barbara L. Caffrey, 81, of Warwick passed away in Providence after a brief illness. The daughter of the late Walter and Florence (Douglas) Pearson, she was a lifelong resident of Warwick.

Barbara enjoyed a quiet life. After settling in Warwick she went on to have a family and raise five daughters. She loved spending time with her family and, later, her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Barbara was a big fan of the Golden Oldies from the 50'5 and 60's. Later in life, she enjoyed eating out around the area and shopping in the local stores or on QVC. She also worked as Foster Grandparent through Child Inc. for many years, as she loved being able to make a difference in the lives of the people she worked with.

She is survived by her five daughters: Deborah Chin of Providence, Sandra Kenney and her husband Stefano Lavinio of South Kingstown, Robin Marshall and her husband John of Manchester, CT, Lynn Kassab and her husband Ghazi of Cranston and Lisa Michels of Eugene, OR. A brother, Arthur Pearson of Warwick, and a sister, Linda Pearson of Hope valley, RI. Her twelve grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Arrangements are in the care of Family's Choice Creamtion Inc. 10 Schoolhouse Rd. Warren. Private services will be at a later time.
